#petroglyphs & #phenomenon in the #canyon -Some very unusual creatures roamed the earth the same time as the early people of this region. I swear that doesn’t look like roadrunners to me, those are #velociraptors. . . . #perception #unexplained #mystery #thisiswhyihike #hiking #neverstopexploring #adventureisoutthere #bluesky #goldenhour #southwest #insearchofquirk #found via Instagram http://ift.tt/2BlKWUd

I’ve been under the weather lately, sinus headaches last week and I’ve been coughing for two days straight. But my poor #TrailBlazer is in far worse shape. She’s done mountains, sandy arroyos, even a garnet mine full of sharp pokey things. But even this #mall rated baddy can’t put up with the #wearsndtear of shitty #Albuquerque city roads, pot holes and random broken asphalt. I’m sorry baby, I didn’t mean to put you thru 45 minute daily commutes in a metropolitan area. You ain’t meant for #citylife. #forgiveme #4wd #chevytrucks #4wdlife #brokenaxle via Instagram http://ift.tt/2EYhVjp

Oso Spring on the Embudito Trail in the Sandia Mountains, New Mexico

This has been one of the driest winters here in New Mexico.

Luckily, I was able to capture some video of a sheer sheet of ice (practically a glacier) on the Embudito Trail not long ago.
